Suresh Raina said, “Indian cricketers got approval to play in foreign T20 league

Suresh Raina, who has been out of the team for 2 years, said that those nationals got approval to play in foreign T20 leagues, which are not signed with BCCI.

He said this on a live chat with fellow player Irfan Pathan.
Raina said that playing in foreign T20 leagues will be good for those aged players who are trying to return. I hope that the BCCI can decide with the franchise and the council that the national players who are not contracted with the board can play in T20 leagues like Big Bash.

Many players are not even playing in IPL: Raina
He further said that I think there are players like Yusuf Pathan, Robin Uthappa besides me, who can learn a lot by playing in foreign T20 leagues. We should be allowed to play in at least two foreign T20 leagues. Because we are not in the contract list of BCCI. Many do not even have agreements with IPL franchises.

‘No domestic competition like international level’

Raina said that there is no competition like level in the home. If in the year we get a chance to play three months of quality. Then why not the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) or the Big Bash League? It will always be ready for us.

‘Players from other nations return to T20 league’
According to this left-handed batsman, many players from other nations are playing in such T20 leagues. On the basis of good performance here, he has also returned. The selectors do not see anyone outside the pool of 40-50 players.

They feel that the players outside it are not good or believe that their career is over. In such a situation, if we play and perform well in foreign leagues, it will improve us only.

Indians are not allowed to play in foreign leagues

Except the IPL, the BCCI has not approved any active player to play in the franchise league. However, some players are definitely playing in foreign leagues after retirement. In this, Virender Sehwag has played T-10, Yuvraj Singh Global T20 League for Canada.

Last year, Harbhajan Singh also signed for England’s ‘The Hundred’ (100-ball match). But moved away from it to play in the IPL.
