IPL 2020: BCCI President Sourav Ganguly arrives in Sharjah

Sharjah: Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) Chief Sourav Ganguly reached the Sharjah Cricket Stadium to review the preparations for the next edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020. All of the IPL 2020 matches will be held from 19 September to 10 November in three locations of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) – Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah.

Sourav Ganguly has posted his pictures on Instagram visiting the Sharjah Cricket Stadium. Ganguly wrote on the caption of his post that “the famous Sharjah Stadium is all set to host the IPL 2020”. Let me tell you that Sourav Ganguly landed in the United Arab Emirates only last week, but according to the protocol created due to Corona virus epidemic, he had to undergo a mandatory six-day quarantine. After completing his quarantine period, Ganguly is now getting information about IPL preparations at three places.

Let us tell you that the first match of IPL 2020 will be played on September 19 between Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings. Explain that Dubai will host 24, Abu Dhabi 20 and Sharjah 12 matches. Dates and venues for the playoff stages of the competition will be released later.
