Indian weightlifting federation demands this for Chinese sports equipment

A week after 20 soldiers were killed in a violent skirmish in eastern Ladakh, the Indian Weightlifting Federation on Monday called for a boycott of Chinese sports equipment, calling the equipment coming from China useless.

The federation had ordered four weightlifting sets from Chinese company ‘ZKC’ last year. The federation said that the equipment turned out to be useless and the lifters are not using them.

Yadav said, “We have written a letter to Sai that we will not use Chinese equipment.” He said, “In future also we will not use Chinese sets. We will use sets from Indian or other companies but not from China. ”

National coach Vijay Sharma told that these sets turned out to be useless. “After the concession in corona virus lockdown, the lifters started using them but they turned out to be useless,” he said. We cannot use them.

He said, “All the lifters involved in the camp are against China. He has also stopped using sugar app like Tiktok. While buying the goods online, he is looking at whether he is sugar. “Asked why these set orders were made, Sharma said that someone else There was no option, as only Chinese equipment would be used at the Tokyo Olympics.

He said that the equipment was purchased for the first time from China. The Indian team is also exercising with equipment made in Sweden. Yadav said that alternatives to Chinese equipment are present. He said, “We have many options.” We are using good Indian sets. We have also ordered equipment from Sweden which will be used.

There is a demand for boycott of use of Chinese products after violent clashes in Galvan Valley. Indian Olympic Association has also said that they are ready to boycott Chinese equipment.
