Former world number one American tennis player Serena Williams defeated champion Sloane Stephens to make this place

Former world number one American tennis player Serena Williams made a strong comeback after trailing and defeated former champion Sloane Stephens to advance to the fourth round of the US Open tennis tournament.

Sumit Nagal was defeated in the second round of singles against Austrian second seed and world number three Dominic Theme, while Divij and his Serbia partner Nikola Kesich were defeated in the first round of the men’s doubles. Sakkari defeated Anisimova
Maria Sakkari reached the fourth round in the second consecutive Grand Slam, defeating Amanda Anisimova of America 6-3, 6-1 within 55 minutes. The 22nd seeded Anisimova made 28 spontaneous mistakes and placed four winners. The 15th seed Sakkari made eight mistakes. They will now face Serena Williams or Sloane Stephens.
