Mumbai. Bollywood filmmaker Anil Suri was infected with Kovid-19, died. He was 77. According to Filmfare.com, the news of Anil’s death was confirmed by his brother Rajiv Suri.
He informed that the filmmaker was taken to Lilavati, then to Hinduja Hospital, when his health worsened. In both medical institutions they were forbidden to provide beds.
The website’s news also stated that he was eventually taken to the Advanced Multispeciality Hospital. He was put on ventilator on Wednesday, but breathed his last at around 7 pm on Friday evening.
Anil Suri’s 1978 film Karmayogi was a hit in those days. The film starred Raj Kapoor, Jitendra and Rekha. His ‘Raj Tilak’ was also very well received in theaters. It starred Sunil Dutt, Raj Kumar, Hema Malini, Dharmendra, Reena Roy, Sarika and Kamal Haasan.
