Kochi. After sending several migrant workers across the country to their hometown, actor Sonu Sood has once again airlifted 177 girls from Odisha trapped in Kerala amidst a showdown of generosity. Rajya Sabha MP Amar Patnaik on Friday tweeted about Sonu’s initiative to airlift Odia girls.
Patnaik tweeted, “Sonu Soodji, it is commendable for you helping the Odia girls return safely from Kerala. This credit goes to your efforts. It is incredible to see how you are helping the needy reach their homes safely. You become more capable. “
It is being told that a special aircraft was arranged to help the girls trapped in Ernakulam. The girls, who hail from Odisha, used to do sewing and embroidery work at a local textile factory there. The plane also boarded 10 migrant laborers, who were working in a plywood factory.
A source close to the actor provided the pictures to IANS in which the girls standing outside the Kochi airport can be seen. After landing at the Bhubaneswar airport, the girls happily posed in front of the camera. Sonu’s pictures were in his hands.
