Mumbai. Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui has allegedly sent a legal notice to his wife Alia. He sent a divorce notice to Nawaz on 7 May. According to the news of Times of India.com, the notice sent by Nawaz to his wife has accused him of ‘engaging in fraud’, ‘deliberately and systematically defaming’ and ‘defamating the character’. The notice also states that the actor responded to Alia’s theatricals on May 19 within 15 days.
Alia allegedly said in a recent interview that she is not able to pay her children’s school fees, as Nawaz has stopped giving her monthly allowance. The actor’s lawyer has rejected Alia’s claims.
Nawaz’s lawyer Adnan Sheikh told the website, “EMI is still being given by my client. Other expenses related to children are also being answered. The divorce notice was also responded to. He tried to slander Nawaz through these allegations. “
Apart from this, the actor in his notice has asked the wife to make objectionable statements against him and a written explanation for the recent situation he has said.
