The Indian Army has always inspired us as citizens and taught us many stories of courage, bravery and patriotism. Our army has fought every battle without any fear and some of these heroic stories have been written in stories in the past and have even taken it to theaters. January 15 is celebrated as Army Day, the same day in 1949, our armed forces took the responsibility of protecting our country. It was on this special day that Field Marshal Kodandera m. Cariappa took over as the first Commander-in-Chief of the Indian Army from General Sir Francis Butcher, the first British Commander-in-Chief of India. URI: Surgical Strike

URI: Surgical Strike Made Vicky Kaushal a household name and that was everything people were talking about. The film depicts the story of the surgical strike, when 23 soldiers were killed by a group of terrorists after the Indian Army killed them. Aditya Dhar and the team did not elaborate in making this film and the audience not only got to see the heartbreaking scenes of the surgical strike, but also how cleverly our army planned the whole. saffron

When there was a lot of discussion saffron Was declared. Viewers knew that if Akshay Kumar is making a film, it should be good, but he did not expect it to be extraordinary. The film is sustained at a time when 21 Sikh soldiers fought a battle against more than 10,000 Afghan invaders. The film is based on the battle of Saragarhi and the extent to which these soldiers go to serve their soil is nervous. Some of the scenes in the film will provide you with literal coolness and also educate you about one of the boldest battles fought. Paramanu

John Abraham chooses his projects very wisely and after viewing Paramanu, We understood why he chose this film. This story revolves around how the team of soldiers and scientists together has made India the sixth country in the world to have nuclear weapons. Based on a true story, the team faces challenges such as protecting themselves from the intruders of their enemies who monitor their every move. Knowing that this has happened in real life, you wonder how these brave hearts carried out such a dangerous mission and honors you even more. Watch this film for John in action on Zee 5.

Agree

Alia Bhatt starrer is another gem Agree. The film is again another film inspired by true events. The film tells the real story of Sehmat Khan, who was a major contributor to the Indian Army in getting vital information about the Pakistani Army. Agreed (Alia) is an Indian spy who is married to a Pakistani officer (Vicky Kaushal). She has been trained to use her position and help the Indian Army take down the plans of the Pakistan Army to defeat India, the film was full of emotions and was definitely a nail biting experience. Watch the film only on Amazon Prime Video for some adrenaline rush.

Border

We cannot make a list of films based on our soldiers nor can we include this film. Border Starring by Sunil Shetty, Sunny Deol, Akshaye Khanna and others, the film is one of the earliest memory war films of all of us. The film, which was awarded three National Awards, is a beautiful story based on the real story of the battle of Longewala. It was during this battle when the Pakistani attacked us on the Rajasthan border. While the Indian Army was out on the battlefield with only 120 soldiers, they left no chance of winning. He managed to hold his ground and a memorial museum was also built in his honor at the same place. The museum has exhibited as well as destroyed Pakistani tanks. Watch this film to hear its beautiful track, its entertaining storyline, and some great performances only on the Z5.
