Haridwar Kumbh Mela 2021: After the Maha Kumbh of Faith at Prayagraj, there is going to be a grand opening of the Kumbh Mela (Haridwar Kumbh Mela 2021) from Makar Sankranti to Haridwar. Kumbh Mela 2021 is starting in Haridwar on the auspicious occasion of Makar Sankranti. Kumbh Mela is considered to be the most divine and grand among all religious ceremonies of the world, when people from every corner of the world arrive to take a dip of faith in the river Ganges. However, in view of the outbreak of Coronavirus Pandemic, all pilgrims coming to Haridwar will have to follow the strict guidelines of COVID-19 (COVID-19). Meanwhile, Kumbh Mela special trains are being run by Indian Railways for pilgrims. Actually, Kumbh is organized every three years in Prayagraj, Haridwar, Nashik and Ujjain and then Mahakumbh is held in all the four places after a gap of 12 years. Mahakumbh Mela is starting after 12 years in Haridwar.
During the Kumbh Mela, millions of people reach to take a dip of faith in the Ganges river. Millions of people reach the Ganges Ghat to bathe on auspicious dates. A fair is organized along the river during Kumbh. This year, the Kumbh Mela in Haridwar will start from January 14 and end on April 27. Kumbh Mela 2021: Bathing Ghat in Haridwar

Significantly, 40 companies of central paramilitary forces will be deployed for the Kumbh Mela that starts in Haridwar. Particularly during the Kumbh on the day of the royal bath, a dozen companies of central paramilitary forces will be deployed in the fair area, along with the central government Dwava Khochi Swan at the Haridwar Kumbh Mela along with the National Security Guard (NSG Commando), ‘sniper’ (shooters) and Bomb disposal squad will also be deployed.
