Telugu star Allu Arjun celebrated the first anniversary of his film Ala Vaikunthapremulu on Tuesday. He reunited with the film’s team, which also included director Trivikram Srinivas. Sharing a picture of the reunion, he posted on Instagram: “One year reunion of AVPL. Thank you all for this unforgettable and memorable film. Thank you all. Her co-star Pooja Hegde tweeted photos from the celebration and wrote: “We are just HAD to celebrate this 1! #Massive #alavaikunthapurramuloo # 1yearofAVPL.” In addition to the film’s team to mark the occasion, three rappers including Roll Rida, Asura and Harika Narayan performed a rap that marked Arjun’s journey from his first film (Gangotri) to Ala Vaikunthamurramulu. The film, starring Tabu and Jayaram, revolves around Bantu (essayed by Arjun), who grows up to be subject to his father’s disdain until he learns about his real parents. He decides to make a place for himself for the family he really is. Along with the film, its soundtrack was also a big hit, with songs like “Batta Bomma” and “Samajavargamna” becoming chartbusters.
