3 killed in Florida single-vehicle accident after shootout


Three people died in a vehicle accident after a shootout by a shooter on a Florida highway on Monday night.

Police in Miramar said the incident occurred just before 10 pm near the intersection of State Road 7, where a dispute broke out between passengers in two different vehicles.

According to police, a gunman crashed into a restaurant, while a vehicle crashed while the suspect exited the scene.

Police said investigators have no idea what happened before the shooting. It was not clear whether the three male victims, which the police did not identify, were killed in gunshot wounds or accidents. No other injuries or deaths were reported.

Miramar, a city with a population of about 125,000 people, is 25 miles north of Miami.
