Elton considers relationship with John’s husband Throwback Pix in Anniversary Post

This is a 15-year relationship for David Furnish and Elton John.

The 58-year-old entertainment executive shared a picture from the couple’s civic participation ceremony 15 years ago on Monday and another from their 2014 wedding.

Furnish wrote, “I can’t believe that @eltonjohn has passed 15 years and I have celebrated my civil partnership in the UK.”

“6 years ago, we renewed our vows and got married legally in front of our two beautiful sons,” he continued. “This type of civil progress was unimaginable when I was growing up.”

John, 73, and Furnish have two sons, Zachary, 9, and Eliza, 7. In his post, Furnish noted the strides made for LGBTQ rights, while not looking at how much and what to do.

“Despite all these exceptionally positive changes, I remind myself that it is still illegal to have LGBT + in 70 countries, and you can be given the death penalty in the same 12 countries,” he explained. “Through our work with the Elton John AIDS Foundation, Elton and I pledge to continue the fight for equality for our LGBT + brothers and sisters around the world.”

John and Furnish remain tight amid the challenges of 2020. In March, the music legend celebrated his 73rd birthday with a sweet video featuring Kheer with a cake.

“Grateful for the best birthday ever with my family,” John wrote.

In July, he thanked Farnish and his children, commemorating the 30th anniversary of their simplicity.

“Celebrating my 30th Sobri Birthday, reflecting the most magical day,” John wrote.

“So many lovely cards, flowers and chips. My son, David, friend in the program, in the office and in our homes. I am a truly blessed man. If I didn’t finally take the big step of asking. Help 30 years ago, I die.” Will go. Thank you to the bottom of my heart to all those who have inspired and supported me along the way. “

The couple has maintained a somewhat normal state during the epidemic. For Halloween, John shared a video of his entire family singing along to his classic hit “Crocodile Rock.”
