His feud with Krishna Abhishek and maternal uncle, Bollywood actor Govinda has been quite public since the beginning. While initially it was Govinda and wife Sunita, who did not want to appear in a show to Krishna, who was going to appear, this time, Krishna expressed concern about performing in front of his maternal uncle and maternal uncle. Krishna made some allegations that do not sit well with Govinda, who, in a statement, put his side of the story. Krishna Abhishek narrated the episode featuring the Kapil Sharma show, in which Mama Govinda said, ‘He might make fun of me’,
“I am deeply saddened to release this media statement, but I firmly believe that it is high time that the truth should be revealed.
I read the news on the front page of a leading daily about my nephew Krishna Abhishek, who was not performing in a popular television show because I was invited there as a guest. He chose to opt-out due to having some reservations. He later went ahead and spoke about his confidence in our relationship in the media. The statement contained defamatory remarks and was issued with only a little thought. It was a snowball effect because it was voyeuristic in nature. The Kapil Sharma Show: Krishna Abhishek opens on his absence from the show’s episode of Govinda, Sunita and Narmada.
It was wrongly alleged by Krishna that I did not go to see their twins. I went to see my twins in the hospital with my family and met the doctor (Doctor Awasthi) and the nurse. However, the nurse told me that the children’s mother – Kashmirira Shah, never wanted any family member to come and see the surrogate children. Upon further insistence, we were made to watch children from long distances. We returned with a heavy heart, however, I feel strongly that Krishna is not aware of this incident. One can feel free to connect with a doctor and nurse and know the truth. Krishna also came to our house with children and Aarti Singh, which he has forgotten to mention in the statement. Krishna Abhishek talks about nepotism, saying, “Yes, I am Govinda’s nephew, but he does not work in my place.”
Be it Krishna or Kashmirira – I am often a scapegoat for derogatory comments and statements against him – most of them in the media and some of the shows and performances that they do. I do not understand why this slander is being done with repetition and what is it that they are gaining from that. My relationship with Krishna was very strong from the time he was a young child. My adorableness was unique to him and my family and industry people are witness to him. I firmly believe that washing dirty linen in public is a sign of insecurity and allows outsiders to take advantage of family misunderstandings.
Through this statement, I would like to mention that I will keep a beautiful distance going forward. And since I’m mentioned in media reports, I’m very bad – I urge those who dislike me. Every family has misgivings and problems – but discussing them in the media can cause irreparable damage and, I dislike it – in fact I am very sad to make this clear through the media. I am probably the wrong person, but if so – then so be it. My mother always taught me ‘do goodness and put in the river’ Govinda. “
